October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. Many area schools participated in some way.

Tiffany Dziuk (from left), Reagan Ehlers, Taylor Moy, Alyssa Dziuk, Grace Dzuik, Hailee Kowalik, Jenn Pruski, and Amy Horton, members of the Falls City Color Guard, show their support for breast cancer at the Oct. 26 football game. The group raised more than $3,000 in their “Pink Out for Cancer” fund-raiser.
