Veterans Day closures

Several city and county offices will be closed in observance of Veterans Day, which is Monday, Nov. 12.

City halls in Floresville, La Vernia, Stockdale, Poth, and Elmendorf will be closed.

The Sam Fore Jr. Wilson County Public Library will be closed, as will the Wilson County Courthouse and the Wilson County Appraisal District.

Post offices in Floresville, La Vernia, Poth, Sutherland Springs, Stockdale, and Elmendorf will be closed Nov. 12.

Guadalupe Valley Electric Co-op in La Vernia and Floresville Electric Light & Power System in Floresville will be open.

The Wilson County News and the La Vernia News offices will be open with normal business hours.

Too bad the students had to go to school considering the amount of Military families that live in Wilson County.
