Help Wanted

ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED, part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. AUSTIN -- The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added Lloyd Lester Gibson III, 67, to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender list, and a $5,000 cash reward is now offered for information leading to his capture. Gibson’s lengthy criminal history includes Indecent Exposure, Indecency with a Child by Fondling, Indecency with a Child by Exposure, Failure to Register as a Sex Offender and Burglary of Habitation. Texas Crime Stoppers tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.

Gibson’s most common offense is to expose himself to underage girls. His last known address was Fort Worth, and he has relatives and friends living in the Houston area, and has ties to the Austin area. Gibson has been known to work as a medical technician, lab researcher and computer programmer. He has convictions in Travis, Smith and Harris counties.

Gibson is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He has scars on his chest, left shoulder, right elbow and right shoulder. For more information, please view his wanted poster at: http://www.dps.texas.gov/Texas10MostWanted/SexOffenderDetails.aspx?id=171.

Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
Text the letters DPS--followed by your tip--to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
Submit a Facebook tip at http://www.facebook.com/texas10mostwanted by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).

All calls, texts, e-mails and Facebook messages are anonymous. The following link, http://www.dps.texas.gov/Texas10MostWanted/video/tipsterVideo.htm, explains the steps on how to submit a tip regarding a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive or Sex Offender and/or how to receive a reward once the fugitive is captured.

DPS investigators work with local law enforcement agencies to select fugitives for the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive and Sex Offender lists. To view the current lists--with photos--visit the DPS website at http://www.dps.texas.gov/texas10mostwanted/.

Do not attempt to apprehend these fugitives; they are considered armed and dangerous.
