SAN ANTONIO -- The Stockdale cross-country team participated in the 2012 UIL Region IV cross-country championships hosted by UTSA Nov. 3.

The Stockdale cross-country team concluded its season with a very impressive performance -- the team’s best of the year. The first five participants turned in times of less than 20 minutes, which makes it their best collective performance of the season.

Ethan Chavez led the Brahmas with his time of 19:19, followed by Jordan Jackson in a time of 19:25. Samuel Scriven and Austin Akin both crossed the finish in a time of 19:44, and Austin Gonzales came in under the 20-minute mark at 19:52. Tristan Marquez ran the course in a time of 20:34, and William Morris did it in 22:14.

Head Coach Lester Jackson is extremely proud of the efforts his team made this season.
