The La Vernia High School Culinary Department hosted a luncheon for the La Vernia Garden Club on Nov. 1. The students served a delicious meal consisting of spinach salad, baked crusted chicken breast, asparagus spears, pasta salad, rolls, iced tea, and delicious strawberry cake!

The students were most hospitable and attentive. Julie LeStourgeon, the instructor, visited with members and answered questions about the class. The garden club extends its appreciation to Julie and her students for a most enjoyable day.

Cherry Pierdolla will host the club’s annual Christmas luncheon in her home on Thursday, Dec. 6. In lieu of gift exchange, the members will contribute $10 each to the La Vernia Food Pantry.
