SAN ANTONIO -- The Fiesta San Antonio Commission has announced the selected artist for its official 2013 Fiesta Poster, and unveiled the newest Fiesta poster design. The unveiling took place in the San Antonio Central Library Plaza for members of the Fiesta Commission and invited guests.

Stuart A. Seal and his artwork, “Bridging The Traditions and Cultures of Fiesta,” were chosen. When asked about the poster, Seal said, “The poster represents our heritage signified by the Rose Window of Mission San Jose which frames Fiesta; reflecting the spark, energy and icons of San Antonio, and its rich cultural diversity and history. Confetti overflows from the Rose Window and becomes a river of revelry and staccato of mirth as it flows through Fiesta, bridging the cultures and traditions. The streaming banners represent the many components of Fiesta to overlay the events, honoring the Party with a Purpose -- Fiesta.”

The official 2013 Fiesta Poster is available for purchase at The Fiesta Store at 2611 Broadway on San Antonio.
