1930-2012

James F. Minor passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, in Floresville, Texas, at the age of 82 years, 9 months, and 28 days. James was born Jan. 18, 1930, in St. Louis, Mo., the son of John Robert and Louise Minor. He was a former resident of Austin and a resident of Floresville for a short time.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, John Minor; and his sisters, Vera Minor and Corinne Sobocinski.

James is survived by his wife, Celia Minor of the Republic of Panama; his daughter, Mary Casey and husband John of San Antonio; his son, Paul Minor of Austin; his sister, Helen Toczylowski of St. Louis, Mo.; and his grandchildren, John Casey IV and Cayla Casey of San Antonio.

A memorial service will be held in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio at a later date.
