Ruben V. Esquivel passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 55 years, 11 months, and 7 days. Ruben was born Dec. 7, 1956, in Floresville, the son of Theodore and Louise Esquivel. He was a lifelong resident of Floresville.

He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Marcelo Esquivel.

Ruben is survived by his wife, Adela Esquivel of Floresville; his daughter, Kerry Esquivel of Floresville; his sisters, Cynthia Esquivel of Floresville and Liz Esquivel Lopez of San Antonio; his brothers, Theodore Esquivel Jr. of San Antonio and Rodney Esquivel of Floresville; and his granddaughters, Sidney Castillo and Loraine Esquivel.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
