Jimmie Laverne “Dinkie” Rose passed away Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, in Floresville, Texas, at the age of 79 years, 7 months, and 22 days. Dinkie was born March 23, 1933, in Floresville, the daughter of Harper and Beatrice Bundrick. She was a lifelong resident of Floresville.

Dinkie was the former owner of Don’s Restaurant and really loved the city of Floresville. She loved the way the city has prospered, but loved the “old days.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Dinkie is surived by her husband, Raymond L. Rose of Floresville; her sons, Raymond L. Rose Jr. and wife Connie of Carrollton, Don C. Rose and wife Rebecca of Ennis, and David N. Rose and wife Vickie of Dallas; one brother; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
