Lillian Hoelscher Reininger, a longtime resident of Wilson County, Texas, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at 7:05 a.m. in the Floresville Nursing Center in Floresville at the age of 94 years, 1 month, and 19 days. Lillian was born Oct. 1, 1918, in Bell County, the daughter of Theophil Joe and Annie Apolia Stock Hoelscher.

Lillian attended Johnson School and was a homemaker. She married Benno Reininger on Nov. 18, 1936, in Poth. Benno, Lillian’s beloved husband of more than 59 years, preceded her in death on July 21, 1996.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.

Lillian is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, Nov. 23, at 5 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. in the Vinyard Funeral Home Chapel in Poth.

A funeral service was held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the St. John Lutheran Church in Poth, officiated by Kelly Tankersley, S.A.M.

Interment followed in the Dewees Cemetery in Wilson County.

Serving as pallbearers were Lee Roy Reininger, Kevin Raabe, Darren Korzekwa, John Yosko, Ricky Sekula, and Larry Koether.
