Compared to last week: Hay prices generally steady. Trade and movement slow under fairly light buyer demand this week. Recent warm and above average temperatures has grass conditions still adequate especially in some areas of East, Central, Southeast, and East Texas. These areas also have ample to surplus of hay on hand. However, areas North, far West and the Panhandle are dry and need rain for drying wheat and winter pastures.
