Floresville FFA competes  in leadership contests; one advances to state
Floresville FFA advisor and coach Mark Jarzombek (from left) congratulates the Floresville FFA Public Relations team of Brielle Brown, Taylor Wall, Rachel Miksch, and Jewel Jimenez for their first-place finish in area competition in Blanco. The team will compete in state competition Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at Sam Houston State University.

Floresville FFA’s leadership teams competed Nov. 6 in the Guadalupe Valley District FFA Leadership Contests, held at Marion Middle School. Floresville sent five teams to the district contest and had three of them qualify for area. Each of these teams is very unique in that they all have a completely different audience and topic of discussion.  . . .

I heard these guys were very competitive at the state contest. I think I heard they finished in the top 5 in the state! Pretty impressive!

I agree, some of the best kids have put on that blue jacket over the years. Those FFA kids a good every year.

There are good kids in Floresville, they may not be kings, queens or sports stars, but we do have some who excel!
