Found: Pretty white medium female dog, Jan. 11, in Homeplace Subdivision, Adkins, has black spot over eye, very friendly and sweet, misses owner, must find home, cannot keep. 210-649-1886.

Floresville FFA’s leadership teams competed Nov. 6 in the Guadalupe Valley District FFA Leadership Contests, held at Marion Middle School. Floresville sent five teams to the district contest and had three of them qualify for area. Each of these teams is very unique in that they all have a completely different audience and topic of discussion.  . . .

I heard these guys were very competitive at the state contest. I think I heard they finished in the top 5 in the state! Pretty impressive!

I agree, some of the best kids have put on that blue jacket over the years. Those FFA kids a good every year.

There are good kids in Floresville, they may not be kings, queens or sports stars, but we do have some who excel!
