Bur Venis Campbell passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, in Stockdale, Texas, at the age of 86. He was born Dec. 29, 1925, in Mount Judea, Ark., to Claudia Este and Lizzie L. (Foster) Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Odel Campbell.

Bur is survived by his wife, Juanita (Garner) Campbell; son Jack Campbell and wife Julie, their children, Joseph Campbell and Jaclyn Campbell, and their grandchild, Daniel Levi Joseph Guzman; daughter Dianne Alderman and husband Dennis and their children, Megan and Matthew Alderman; son David Campbell and wife Darlene and their children, Stephanie and Melissa Campbell; and son Johnny Campbell and wife Cindy and their children, Ashley and Brianna Campbell; sister Tressie O’Neal; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, Dec. 4, from 6-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral chapel with the Rev. Gary Irwin to officiate.

Interment will follow in the Stockdale Cemetery in Stockdale.
