Offer condolences


Forrest W. “Nitwit” Hesskew, 55, of La Vernia, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012. He was born on Dec. 17, 1956, in San Antonio to Lyle Hesskew and Dorothy Carter.

He was preceded in death by his father; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Forrest is survived by his loving family which includes children Billie Jo Martinez, James Robert Hesskew and wife Kristie Dear and Michael Wayne Hesskew and wife Amy Campbell; mother Dorothy Hesskew; brother Lloyd Hesskew; sister-in-law Norma Jean Sanchez-Hesskew; niece Haley Morgan Hesskew of New Castle, Pa.; nephew Trevor Glenn Hesskew of Poland, Ohio; numerous other relatives; and many loving friends. Visitation was held on Monday, Dec. 3, from 1-2 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A funeral service was held on Monday at 2 p.m. in the funeral chapel officiated by the Rev. Billy Moore.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
