Steve and Deborah Hladek of La Vernia, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Megan Nicole, to Braden Russell Boening, the son of Russell and Margie Boening of Floresville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Camille Hladek of San Antonio and the late William and Lillian Aniol, formerly of San Antonio.

Megan is a 2005 graduate of Lake Dallas High School and a graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station with a bachelor’s degree in animal science. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University and will graduate in May 2014.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Kenneth and Mildred Boening of Floresville and Louis and Mary Jaskinia of Cestohowa.

Braden is a 2005 graduate of Poth High School and also earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Texas A&M University in College Station. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University and will graduate in May 2013.

The couple plan a December wedding in the First Baptist Church in Floresville.
