The Mid-Texas Symphony’s annual holiday concert “Sleigh Bells Ring!” will be held on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 4 p.m. in Jackson Auditorium on the Texas Lutheran University campus at 1000 W. Court St. in Seguin.

The concert will feature entertaining works that the whole family will enjoy, to include Wagner’s “Siegfried Idyll,” a movement from Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Christmas Eve Suite,” excerpts from “The Nutcracker,” and Leroy Anderson’s famous “Sleigh Ride.” Additionally, the Mid-Texas Symphony will premiere a carol medley arranged by conductor David Mairs, featuring the Mid-Texas Symphony Chorus and the TLU/Mid-Texas Symphony Community Music Academy Youth Choir, directed by Laurie Jenschke.

The concert will close with a children’s chorus of students from Comal and New Braunfels ISD, who will perform “Little Star” by Jill Gallina, and “A Winter Carol,” arranged by Mary Donnelly and George Strid.

Individual tickets can be purchased through the symphony office, the Chamber of Commerce and The Crossing in New Braunfels, and at Cascades Gift Shop and Gift and Gourmet in Seguin.

Single ticket prices are $30 for reserved seats for all age groups, with general admission at $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, college students, and military, or $5 for students 18 years old and under.
