1962-2012

Adam Guevara passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 50 years, 2 months, and 10 days. He was born Sept. 18, 1962, in Floresville and lived there all his life.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Guevara of Poth; his parents, Braulio and Maria Guevara of Poth; and his grandmother, Otilia Cervantez of Poth. Adam is also survived by his daughters, Brandi Guevara of San Antonio and Brianna Guevara of Poth; his sons, Michael Guevara of San Antonio and Marcos Guevara of Poth; his sisters, Sylvia Guevara and Patricia Garza and husband Leroy, all of Poth, and Elisa Guevara of Floresville; his brother, Ernie Guevara and wife Diane of Floresville; his granddaughter, Sophia Salazar of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Friday, Nov. 30, at 9 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Poth, with a rosary recited at 11 a.m.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Friday at 11:30 a.m. in the church with the Rev. Gregory Szewczyk officiating.

Interment followed in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Cemetery in Poth.
