The next Texas Wildlife Association webinar, “Forest Management and Wildlife on Private Land in Eastern Texas,” will be held Thursday, Dec. 20, at noon.

This month’s expert presenter will be Dr. Chris Comer, professor of Wildlife Management, Stephen F. Austin State University. The webinar will cover methods to manage private forest lands for popular game species (white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, northern bobwhite, etc.), ways to maintain or promote diversity of nongame wildlife on private forest lands while preserving incomes, and the role of private landowners in conservation of a forested landscape in eastern Texas.

The free online webinar offers one hour of General Continuing Education Unit credit for pesticide applicator’s license.

On the day of the webinar, simply point your browser to https://texas-wildlife.webex.com and click to join the Wildlife for Lunch

webinar.

Each webinar is archived and available for viewing following the initial air date at the Texas Wildlife Association website: www.texas-wildlife.org.

For more information, contact Texas Wildlife Association’s Courtney Brittain at cbrittain@texas-wildlife.org or 1-800-839-9453.
