Geraldine “Pickie” M. Looney passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at the age of 89 years. She was born in De Leon, Texas, on May 22, 1923, to George Franklin and Inous Martin.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Looney; her parents; and son Jerry Bob Gibson.

She is survived by her niece, Beverly Russell; her aunt, Edna Martin; and numerous other relatives.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 2 p.m. in the Stockdale Nursing Home in Stockdale.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
