1956-2012

Bradley Don Lamberth passed away on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012.

Brad graduated from Reagan High School in Austin, Texas, in 1974. There, he was a member and president of the Texas Youth Rodeo Association. He and his horse went to Texas A&M, where he was a member of Parson’s Mounted Cavalry. He was also a member and past president of a local chapter of Gypsy MC International. After college, Brad spent most of his life in the southeast part of Bexar County, where he ranched and operated a business. His middle name, Don, was after Don Edward “Smokey” Lotspeich, who was the best man at his parents’ wedding.

Brad was diagnosed with cancer in 2009 and was treated in San Antonio, but the cancer came back in August of 2011. He received a grant from the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Southwestern Regional Medical Center in Tulsa, Okla., where his father was treated in 1998. Brad was under Odyssey Hospice care when he passed away.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth “Beth” Lamberth; grandparents Virgil “Rusty” and Eron “Biggie” Lamberth, and Cephes and Elizabeth Miller.

Brad is survived by his father, Jim Lamberth; stepmom (whom he called “Mom”) Lou Lamberth; son Destin Virgil Lamberth; and daughters Shawney Lamberth and Ashley Lamberth.

A memorial service was held in the Franklin Funeral Home with a graveside service held on Saturday, Dec. 15, in Stockdale.
