Participants sought for cancer study
If you’ve ever known someone with cancer, you know that birthdays are a very significant milestone. The Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3) is a research study being conducted by the American Cancer Society that will help create a world with less cancer ... and more birthdays.
The purpose of CPS-3 is to better understand the lifestyle, behavioral, environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer and to ultimately eliminate cancer as a major health problem for this and future generations.
Interested persons willing to make a long-term commitment to the study, are ages 30-65, and have never personally been diagnosed with cancer (except for basal cell or squamous cell skin cancer) are eligible to enroll.
Enrollment will be available at the following locations:
•Resurrection Baptist Church, 1002 East Live Oak Road, Schertz, Sunday, Feb. 10, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
