Porter, Kosub plan Dec. 28 wedding
Maegan Porter of Beeville, Texas, and Stephen Kosub of St. Hedwig are pleased to announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Porter Jr. of Beeville. Maegan is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Chamrad and Mr. and Mrs. Charles McCameron, all of Beeville, and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Porter Sr. of Mathis. She is a 2006 graduate of A.C. Jones High School in Beeville and a 2010 graduate of Texas State University in San Marcos, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in family and consumer science with a minor in family and child development. She is currently employed at St. Mary’s Academy Charter School in Beeville as the after school director.
The prospective groom is the son of Vernon and Robin Kosub of St. Hedwig. Stephen is the grandson of the late Lucas and Rita Kosub, formerly of St. Hedwig, and Dolores Stephens of San Antonio and the late Ruben Stephens.
He is a 2002 graduate of East Central High School and a 2008 graduate of Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture science with a minor in plant and soil science. He is currently employed as a drilling fluids engineer for Halliburton Energy Co.
The couple plan to wed Friday, Dec. 28, at 4 p.m. in the St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Kingsville, Texas, with a reception to be held in the King Ranch Museum.
