STOCKDALE -- The Stockdale Tackle Football League has completed another successful season.

The Junior Brahmas, ages 9-10, finished in third place, overall, after competing among a 24-team field. They went on to play a bowl game at New Braunfels Canyon High School stadium.

The Pee-Wee division, made up of 7- and 8-year-olds, also did well in the playoffs, and the Flag team, ages 5-6, had a fun and exciting first year of participation. The league’s goal is to create winners and teach life lessons through football. This is accomplished with the help of quality coaching, good parents, and outstanding young men.

The league thanks all the coaches for their dedication and hard work this year. Junior coaches are Stephen Lerma, Mike Marquez, Gabriel Marquez, and Kenneth Martinez. Brandon Zella and Eric Gann coached the Pee-Wee team, and Adam Valadez and Berto coached the Flag team.

For more information, or to register for the next season, call David Dunn at 830-534-1644.
