La Vernia physician Dr. Thomas J. Leytham, until recently with the HealthTexas Medical Group, will be practicing medicine in Alabama beginning in January 2013.

“I wish everyone well,” Leytham said.

Leytham’s patients in the last two years can obtain their charts through HealthTexas Medical Group.

The native of the Southeast completed his internship while serving with the U.S. Air Force. He practiced as an emergency-room physician prior to opening a private practice in La Vernia. He later joined the HealthTexas Medical Group.

For records, contact the HealthTexas administration office at 210-731-4800.
