DaVita donates to housing foundation
Louis Rosenberg, president/director of the Wilson Area Housing Foundation, accepts a donation from Jennifer Dominguez, licensed clinical social worker from DaVita Floresville Dialysis.
As part of DaVita’s nationwide effort to donate $1 million to local charities, DaVita Floresville Dialysis and Las Palmas DaVita partnered to award The DaVita Way of Giving $1000 donation to the Wilson Area Housing Foundation. The funds were used to provide holiday cheer baskets, including food, nonperishable items, and toys for 30-plus families selected by the Floresville Independent School District’s social services department.
The Wilson Area Housing Foundation was founded in 2000 as a grass-roots effort to respond to the severely substandard housing conditions found in the Wilson County area.
The teammates from both facilities take great pride in sharing in this unique opportunity through The DaVita Way of Giving program in support of our local community.
For more information about services eligibility, contact FISD social worker Ben Reed at 830-393-5300.
DaVita Floresville Dialysis is the only dialysis facility within Wilson County and services patients from as far away as Runge and can be reached at 830-393-4010.
