ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

Michael and Julie Pruski of Falls City, Texas, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Amanda Faye, to Corey Alen Stone, the son of Steve and Cheryl Stone of Falls City.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Cecilia Pruski of Falls City and the late Isidore Pruski, and the late John Wallis and Mae Jeannette Pfeil, formerly of Floresville.

Amanda graduated from Falls City High School in 2009 and attended Texas A&M University, where she recently graduated with a degree in interdisciplinary studies.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Wilma Dziuk of Falls City and the late Rudolph Dziuk, and the late SL and Sally Stone, formerly of San Antonio.

Corey graduated from Falls City High School in 2007 and attended Texas A&M University, where he graduated with a mechanical engineering degree and a minor in business. He is currently employed as an associate engineer for Spectra Energy in Houston.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, in the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Cestohowa, Texas.
