1949-2012

John Anthony Biela, 63, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012. He was born on Sept. 3, 1949.

John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Paula Longoria Biela; and by his mother, Cecilia V. Biela.

He is survived by his son, John Biela II; a brother, James G. Biela and family; and by the Biela, Longoria, Jasso, Dugi, Frazier, Turner, Lyssy, and Pollok families.

John will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, said his family.

Visitation was held on Thursday, Jan. 3, at 6 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. in the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in San Antonio, Texas.

A funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. in the church.

Interment followed in the Mission Burial Park South in San Antonio.
