The family would like to thank her caregiver, Ada Lerma, and the staff at Guadalupe Valley Regional Hospital for the special care that was given to her.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 68 years, Lester Muriel Akin.
She is survived by her daughter, LaCretia Akin McReynolds and husband Bob of Houston; sons John Lester Akin and wife Janell and Alton Banks Akin and wife Charlin, all of Stockdale; grandsons Scott Akin and wife Barbara, Shane Akin and wife Anna, Blaine Akin and wife Meghan, and Joshua Cotter and wife Jenna; granddaughters Carrie McCleery and husband Sam, Stephanie Jones and husband Marc, and Teri Wolff and husband Ray; sisters Lena M.
