Barbara was married to the love of her life, Jerry, for 56 years. She enjoyed their retirement home on the Guadalupe River in Seguin, and her main mission in life was propelling her children and grandchildren forward into wonderful lives of their own. She is survived by her daughter, Carla Green and husband Allen of La Vernia; son Jeff Witten and wife Pam of San Antonio; stepsons Rick Witten and wife Sharon of Cleveland and Lee Witten; grandkids Caitlin, Carly, and Jordan Green, Whitney and Warrin Witten, Terry Olson, and Jesse Witten; and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held on Sunday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m. in the Tres Hewell Mortuary in Seguin, Texas.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Boulevard, Ste. 1010, Rockville, MD 20852-3914.
