1944-2012

Frank L. Kosub passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at the age of 68 years. He was born Sept. 9, 1944.

Frank honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He loved music and formed a band, Frank Kosub and the “Sounds of Country,” where he played guitar for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank “Bud” Kosub.

Frank is survived by his loving daughter, Rebecca Kosub; mother Tillie Kosub; siblings Robert Kosub and wife Peggy, James Kosub and wife Patti, Raymond Kosub and wife Elizabeth, Elaine Moczygemba and husband Pelagius, Betty Friesenhahn and husband Philip, and Linda Reed and husband John; girlfriend Jan Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and many friends.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, Jan. 3, at 7 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
