Lillian Warzecha, 99, of Yorktown, Texas, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, in La Vernia. Lillian was born to Annie (Styra) and Anton F. Tam Sr. on Dec. 28, 1913, in Yorktown.

Her family would like to give a special thanks to her “guardian angel,” Flo Jacob.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eddie Warzecha; son Gene Warzecha; and son-in-law John Kace.

Lillian is survived by her children, Edmund Warzecha and wife Cathy, Irene Kace, Alvin Warzecha and wife Rose Marie, and Carol Petri Harbeson and husband Drew; grandchildren Rhonda, David, Steven, Susan, Dawn, Dana, Derek, Nancy, and Joe; 17 great-grandchildren; and sister Agnes Dlugosch.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, Jan. 8, from 5-9 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Yorktown with a rosary vigil recited at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Yorktown with the Rev. Roger Hawes officiating.

Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Yorktown.

Memorial contributions may be made in Lillian’s name by way of Mass intentions.
