Boys & Girls Club preps for soccer, volleyball seasons

FLORESVILLE -- Boys & Girls Club-Wilson County is now registering children for the upcoming soccer and volleyball seasons.

Spring soccer will begin in mid-March, and is open to boys and girls ages 3-18. The fee is $50 per child, and both practices and games will be held at the Floresville River Park. The fee for those playing on the traveling soccer teams is $55 per athlete.

The boys and girls volleyball season will also begin in mid-March, and is open to children ages 8-16. All practices and games will be held in the Floresville Event Center, and the registration fee is $45 per child.

Registration is currently open online, but three on-site registration sessions are planned in the coming weeks. Registration sessions will be held Saturdays, Jan. 19, Jan. 26, and Feb. 2 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Floresville Event Center. Parents must present a copy of each child’s birth certificate at the time of registration.
