Herman Joseph Bednarz, a lifelong resident of Poth, Texas, entered eternal rest Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at 10:31 p.m. in the Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home in Floresville, at the age of 92 years, 3 months, and 23 days. Herman was born Sept. 17, 1920, in Poth, the son of Otto and Emilia Winkler Bednarz.  . . .
