Hugh Ollie Scott, 82, passed away peacefully before dawn on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, in the Odyssey Hospice in San Antonio. He had endured a courageous struggle to live out his final years while confronting cancer. He was a resident of the Sattler community in Canyon Lake, Texas, at the time of his death. Hugh was born on Sept. 30, 1930, in Quincy, Miss., to Ollie Winfield and Rebecca Geneva (Myatt) Scott. . . .
