The Texas Brigades program is currently accepting applications for its co-ed wildlife leadership program for youth ages 13-17. The deadline is Friday, March 15.

These weeklong camps are conducted by volunteers from various government and nonprofit agencies, organizations, and individuals who teach cadets about wildlife, leadership, and conservation. Camps to choose from are Bass, Buckskin, Bobwhite, Waterfowl, and Ranch.

Program cost is $400 and applicants can ask for donations and scholarships from businesses in their community. Scholarships also will be available through the program. Applications can be found online at www.texasbrigades.org.
