Georgie M. Cullinane, born Feb. 2, 1929, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at the age of 83. Georgie was born in Wilson County, Texas, to August and Agnes Hosek.

She was a member of the Hermann Sons Lodge and lived most of her life in San Antonio.

Georgie was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Thorn and Daniel Cullinane; her parents; sisters Agnes Sims, Rosie Fischer, Annie Schmidt, and Martha Luckie; and brothers Leon Hosek and Johnnie Hosek.

She is survived by sisters Albina Flieller and husband Jerome, Ella Plyler, and Leona Moczygemba; brothers August Hosek Jr., and Victor Hosek and wife Ivarene; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Visitation was held Sunday, Jan. 27, at 3 p.m. with a rosary recited at 5 p.m. in the Mission Park Funeral Chapels South in San Antonio.

A funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. in the St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Antonio.

Interment followed in the St. Jerome Catholic Cemetery in San Antonio.

Memorials contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic School, 1007 Trail St., Floresville, TX 78114.
