The Western Heritage Parade & Cattle Drive will kick off the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Saturday, Feb. 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will begin on Houston Street -- from Christus Santa Rosa Hospital/I-35 to the Alamo -- through the heart of San Antonio.

Just like the drovers years ago, cowboys will guide a herd of Texas Longhorns on streets where only trails existed 100 years ago. Take your camera and the family.

Enjoy children’s games, family activities, and more at Alamo Plaza -- directly across from the Buckhorn Saloon and Museum -- following the parade.

The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo and the San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau are sponsoring the event.

For more information, call 210-225-5851.
