Officials from the Floresville Police Department and the Heidi Search Center have confirmed that 17-year-old Juanita Marie Jimenez has been located.

Lt. Chad Clark of the Floresville Police Department said that a tip from a family member prompted the department to send an officer, along with an officer from the San Antonio Police Department, to a home on the west side of San Antonio Feb. 4. Jimenez, who was confirmed to be safe, is staying there with her boyfriend.

“I’m just glad that she’s well and alive,” said Jimenez’s father, Juan. “I hope she realizes that we have the door open for her, if she should need our help.”

Jimenez was reported missing Aug. 23. This was after she last was seen Aug. 19, when her mother, Margaret, dropped Jimenez off to see a movie at the Arcadia Theatre in downtown Floresville.

i just dont know how to feel about this, happy she is found but mad that she wasted alot of police time. i agree she could have called the cops and let them she doesnt want to be found! im sure she was enjoying watching family ... More ›

I'm glad she's safe, but I'm really sick of teenagers running away and leaving police and search personnel to waste their time. Its been Months. She could have at least been considerate enough to notify authorities that ... More ›
