1953-2013

Larry Wayne Yanta, 59, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2013. He was born on Dec. 29, 1953, in Karnes City, Texas.

Larry is survived by his wife, Karen; his children, Erick, Katie, and Simon; brothers Allen, Martin, and Clarence Yanta; his father- and mother-in-law, Newton and Evelyn Meyer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, Jan. 31, from 5-8 p.m. in the Mission Park Funeral Chapels South in San Antonio.

A rosary was recited on Friday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Jerome’s Catholic Church in San Antonio.

Interment followed in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Cemetery in Poth.
