Maria “Chelo” Consuelo Gonzales, a lifelong resident of Poth, Texas, passed away Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at 6:17 a.m. in the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 74 years, 9 months, and 5 days. Chelo was born April 26, 1938, in McCoy, the daughter of Guillermo “Willie” and Sapopana Barrera Garcia.  . . .
