Arthur “Art” and Joy Trepagnier will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013. The former Joy L. Frabotta married Arthur B. Trepagnier Jr. on Feb. 7, 1948, in St. John’s Catholic Church in Gulfport, Miss.

They met while working in Washington, D.C., in 1947. Art was a U.S. Marine and Joy was working for the U.S. Marine Corps law offices.

Art and Joy spent 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. Upon retirement, he worked for the City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department for 24 years and the after-school program for 10 years. They are now fully retired and living life to its fullest.

They are the parents of Ken Trepagnier and wife Barbi of Seguin, Denise Sullivan and husband Rob of San Antonio, Patricia Veeder and husband Tim of Tucson, Ariz., and Debbie Stephens and husband Jim of Marion. Art and Joy are also blessed with five outstanding and beautiful grandchildren, Sean Sullivan and wife Stephanie of Groesbeck, Danielle Weber and husband Joe of Dallas, Kyle Trepagnier and Nichole Sullivan, both of Corpus Christi, and Samantha Taylor Stephens of Marion/Tyler.

God has blessed our family with the most wonderful and amazing parents, who have led by example, showing that love, hard work, and determination are the key to a long and successful marriage. Happy Anniversary!
