William “Willie” Wallek Jr., 81, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013. He was born March 27, 1931, to Betty Mary (Gregorczwk) and William Wallek Sr.

William was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Jill Lynn LeBlanc; son Kerry Lee Wallek; and sisters Roberta Walker and Helen Parker.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Wallek of Nixon; daughters Cynthia Susan Havelka and husband Steve of Stockdale and Peggy Jo Adams and husband Clint of San Antonio; grandchildren Ashley Adams, Megan Adams, and Cara Adams, all of San Antonio, and Christopher Michael LeBlanc of Austin.

Visitation was held on Saturday, Feb. 9, from 5-7 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon, Texas.

A funeral service was held on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the funeral chapel with the Rev. George Bradley officiating.

Interment followed in the Nixon Cemetery in Nixon.
