Offer condolences


John Kelley, 19, of La Vernia, Texas, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013. He was born June 22, 1993, to Louanne Wilbur and John Kelley III.

John was an active member of the La Vernia Volunteer Fire Department and he also loved fishing, hunting, and anything to do with the outdoors.

John was preceded in death by his father, John Kelley III; and stepmother Sherry Pettit.

He is survived by his mother, Louanne Kelley of Cleves, Ohio; sisters Ashlie Kelley and fiancé Christopher Friedrichs, Alyssa Kelley, and Amanda Kelley; and brother Michael Kelley.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, Feb. 7, at 6 p.m. in the MeadowLawn Tribute Center in San Antonio.
