East Central plans fun run

EAST CENTRAL -- The East Central College and Career Readiness 5k/10k Fun Run will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at East Central High School’s Hornet Stadium, and the event is open to families, runners, corporate teams, and community groups.

The Kids Fun Run, open to children ages 10 and under, will begin at 8 a.m., and participation is free. Registration is $15 for students ages 11-18, $25 for adults participating in the 5k run, and $35 for those participating in the 10k event. All fees will be $5 more on race day.

Packet pickup will be Friday, Feb. 22, from 2-6 p.m. at the East Central Independent School District Central Office, located at 6674 New Sulphur Springs Road Packets can also be picked up at the stadium on race day.
