We were up by 4:30 A.M. while the ship was making her way into the Port of Galveston. We rendezvoused with our friends in the Piazza at the International Café for coffee and donuts, as we watched the final docking. We avoided the breakfast buffet on the last day, as it is too chaotic. My goodness, has it really been 20 days already?

One last check of our stateroom to make sure nothing was left behind, collecting our luggage and exiting our door. The last thing I always do is remove our name tag from the door (to keep for my scrape book). In just a few hours someone else’s name will be placed on the door.

In total our cruise covered 8,090 miles from Venice, Italy to Galveston, Texas. Goodbye Crown Princess - We have had a marvelous time.
