FHS students are first teen members of Community Emergency Response Team

(Revised 3/1/13) Eleven Floresville High School Air Force Junior ROTC cadets have become the first teenagers in Wilson County to be certified as Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) members. The Teen CERT program educates teens about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. . . .
