Constitution Café at EC High School
East Central High School invites all to its Constitution Café, complete with French café music, frothy coffees, and scones on Thursday, Feb. 28, from 7:40-8:40 a.m. in the high school gym at 7173 F.M. 1628 in San Antonio.
Based on the best-selling book, Constitution Café by Christopher Phillips, and Thomas Jefferson’s idea of recreating the Constitution every 20 years, the goal is to stimulate conversations and re-engage locals in the rights, responsibilities, and duties of citizens. The topic will be: Should terrorists be entitled to due process? What would the Founding Fathers say, and does it still work today?
