Social services experience required.  Responsible for assisting with recruiting and initial training of advocates, and coordinating cases in Wilson County and Karnes County with Atascosa County (home office). Bryce Porter Tomerlin, 2, of Stockdale, Texas, passed away Monday, Feb. 25, 2013. He was born on May 19, 2010, in Seguin to Nathan and Jennifer (Bush) Tomerlin. Bryce was a sweet little boy who enjoyed fishing, playing ball, and spending time with his sister, “Bri Bri,” and his dog, Bentley.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Hubert Tomerlin, Alpheus Bates, Charles Bush Sr., and Jerry Pullin.

Bryce is survived by his parents, Nathan and Jennifer Tomerlin; his sister, Brianna Paige Tomerlin; his grandparents, Jimmy and Denise Bush, and Ken and Barb Tomerlin; his great-grandparents, Lynn and Glenda Simmons, Peggy Tomerlin, Marguerite Bates, and Mary Bush; his uncles, Nic Tomerlin and Jeff Sekula; numerous other family members; and many loving friends.

Visitation was held Friday, March 1, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale.

A funeral service was held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Stockdale, with Pastor Scott Jones officiating.

Interment followed in the Stockdale Cemetery in Stockdale.
