1950-2013

Beth Breed Alexander, born Dec. 19, 1950, to Thomas and Josephine Breed, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, from breast cancer.

Beth was a 1969 graduate of Highlands High School and a 1973 graduate of St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. She retired from teaching at Cole High School in 2009. She loved her two great-nephews, cats, crafting, and gardening.

She is survived by husband Michael Alexander; sister Paula Breed Reno and husband Isaac; brother-in-law Tom Alexander and wife Marci; nieces Leslie Currin and husband Rick and Cara Reno; and many other special family members.

In lieu of any formal service, Beth requested that memorial donations be made in her name to an animal-care facility of one’s choice.
