FLORESVILLE -- The Floresville Police Department seeks assistance from the public to identify an individual suspected of shoplifting a laptop from Floresville Walmart Supercenter on Feb. 23.

Lt. Chad Clark of the Floresville Police Department said that about 7:30 a.m. on Feb. 23, a young Hispanic male wearing a long-sleeved blue shirt and blue jean overalls entered the electronics section of the Walmart on U.S. 181.

The suspect was carrying cable cutters, which he used to sever the silver Sony Ultrabook computer, valued at $600, from the cable that tethered it to the store’s display.

“He then shoved the laptop in the front of his overalls and walked out of Walmart,” Clark said.

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact Clark at 830-393-4055 or Crimestoppers at 830-393-4636.

Stuff is constantly getting stolen from the Wally World in Floresville. When is the store going to do something? I'm sure the police are growing tired of this.

While you're at it, grab the kids who stole my wife's Android from her phone in Dr. Currier's office last November. Yea.. I'm sure they'll get right on that.
